Sakura Restaurant: A Hidden Gem for Fresh Sushi in Fayetteville

This was a very nice experience. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They have a buy 3 and get 1 free roll and nigiri deal which is nice. And, their specialty rolls are 10-15 bucks, generally. The sashimi was fresh and the miso was delicious. My brother got the teriyaki salmon and really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

Excellent. I was unsure about what to order as I'm just getting into the sushi world. The funny, happy lady helped me out. She told me exactly what to order & I loved it. We had the miso soup, ginger salad, sushi & bulgogi. We will absolutely be back when visiting the area. If you need help ordering, just ask. They are knowledgeable. I'm grown up now that I've tried & like sushi!!

Really enjoyed my experience there. I have been once years ago in the past and thought the sushi was just ok, but decided to give it another try. The sushi did not disappoint. It was delicious and I will definitely be back. The miso soup was great too.

We enjoyed the food. We had to leave because one of our kids weren’t feeling well and they barely packed any broth for our noodles. Definitely think it’s better to eat there than take it to go. We liked the sushi. Staff was attentive.

It was incredible. We did order a good bit of food, we wanted to see how the leftovers held. We got gyoza as an appetizer, super good. I got the steak teriyaki, and a spicy crab roll. My friend got the pork katsu and an Alaskan roll. The katsu was super crispy and fresh, the rice was fully. The Alaskan roll was delicious, along with the spicy crab roll (my personal favorite of the meal) and the steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and super juicy, came with a nice portion of rice and zucchini. The steak held up great as a leftover, reheated well and still held its flavor. The miso soup we got with the food was also AMAZING. Definitely coming back.

Looks like a hole in the wall on the outside, but on the inside it is perfection. The interior decoration is nice and cozy, but the standout is the food and service! The sushi is incredibly fresh and made 10ft from right behind the counter. Our server was wonderful and the food came out so fast! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If I am ever back in town this is where I will be eating.

2024 updates Still one of our favorite places to go for date night 8 years later! Staff are always welcoming, kind, and attentive. Favorite rolls Dragon, snow, Alaskan, pirate. The Spicy crispy salmon roll. These are all warm rolls that are cooked if you’re a person that does not like cold sushi or sashimi. This is our favorite place to go for sushi in all of Fayetteville. The men making sushi shout out to you.
